According to the E-Commerce Report 2019 (www.wirtschaft.com) - which surveyed 400 B2B organizations in six countries, including Germany - only slightly more than half (53%) of the companies surveyed currently have a fully developed strategy for digitizing sales and services. The situation in Bavaria is no different.
How can a company successfully implement digitization? What obstacles need to be overcome and what opportunities are there? After an introduction to the topic of digitisation from the point of view of consulting firms, we hear examples of a successful implementation in practice.

Ms. Schickinger was employed for 20 years in various positions at Gartner Inc., one of the world's leading IT consulting firms. She currently teaches digitization at the European Business School in Munich.
