Born 1980 in Turkey, in Germany since 2001
After studying civil engineering at the TU Istanbul (B.Sc.) and traffic engineering at the TU Darmstadt (M.Sc.), I worked for Vössing Ingenieure for seven years. Currently I work as a traffic engineer for the city of Munich.
Since my youth, I have been involved in socio-political issues wherever I live. Between 2017 and 2023, I was an active member of the Migration Advisory Board of the City of Munich, where I represented the interests of migrants in city politics. Currently, I am a member of the Joint Kindergarten Advisory Board (GKB) of the City of Munich, where I also advocate for the interests of Munich parents. As a founding member of the Munich Migrant Organisation (MORGEN e.V.), I was the second chairman of the board from 2015 to 2016, where I volunteered for migrant engagement structures in Munich.
German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) - 2005 Award for Social Commitment at the TU Darmstadt.
