Elmar Mangold

This motto has guided me throughout my entire professional career.

My career began with an apprenticeship as an industrial electronics technician in Bavaria. From an early age, I was fascinated by the combination of technology and its practical application. During my subsequent degree in mechatronics, I deepened my knowledge and specialised in the development of mechatronic products. My enthusiasm for innovative technical solutions continues to shape me to this day.

I took my first professional steps in the industrial sector as a project manager at the Uhlmann Group. There, I learnt to combine technical expertise with business acumen, teamwork and project responsibility.

In 2005, I returned to my true passion – the development of mechatronic products – and joined STEGO as a developer. I took on greater responsibility: initially as Head of Development, and later as an authorised signatory. I have been Managing Director since 2012 and have been actively shaping and developing the company ever since.

Today, I lead a medium-sized, internationally oriented company with ten subsidiaries. My focus is on sustainable growth and long-term strategic development.

My employees and a corporate culture that combines innovation, responsibility and trust are particularly important to me.

I find support and strength for my professional journey in my family, to whom I am very grateful. They are an essential part of my drive and motivation.
