# Hans Spitzner

#### Vice-Minister (ret.)

- 26.11.1943 born in Berchtesgaden, grown up in the Upper Palatinate
- 1964 - 1969 Studies of economics and political science at the Ludwig-Maximilian-University Munich, Dipl.-Volkswirt
- 1970 - 1974 Employee in the Credit Department of Bayer. Hypo and exchange bank in Munich
- 1974 Election to the Bavarian Parliament to this continuously until 2008
- for many years during this time member of the Economic and Financial Committee, also freelance employee of Hypobank
- Appointment by Franz Josef Strauß as State Secretary to the Bavarian State Government
- 17 years as State Secretary, 14.5 years in the Bavarian Ministry of Economic Affairs until the end of 2007
- In between 3 years deputy club chairman of the CSU

- For many years member of the supervisory boards of Munich and Nuremberg airports, Messe Nürnberg, Bayerngas and Rhein-Main-Donau AG

- Since 2008 freelance business consultant and member of the supervisory boards of various companies
- From 2008 - 2016 honorary president of the German East Forum
- Since 2011 honorary president of the European Economic Forum in Bavaria
