In the presence of a few invited guests, Prof. h.c. Reinhold Krämmer was appointed Honorary Consul General of the Republic of Kyrgyzstan, the only Honorary Consul General of Kyrgyzstan worldwide. The solemn ceremony took place in the building of the IHK Munich in the presence of Frank Dollendorf, Head of Foreign Trade of the IHK Munich and Upper Bavaria, Dr. Jutta Albrecht, Speaker Russia, CIS, India, South Asia and Australia, Mrs. Erika Schindecker, Member of the IHK General Assembly, Consul General Dr. Denis I. Rogov, Rebuplik Kazakhstan, Dr. Hanns.W. Hey, Kyrgyzstan-Help of the Bayerische Ostgesellschaft eV and Gf. Vice President Hermann Pönisch, OWWF Bayern.
In their speeches, Ambassador Otorbayev and the newly appointed Honorary Consul General Krämmel stressed the importance of human, political and economic relations between Kyrgyzstan and Bavaria.
